How do I prep for the procedure?
Arrive to your appointment with no eye makeup. If you wear contacts lenses, you will need to remove them before the procedure.
What is the application process?
Generally, this is a relaxing spa like procedure. After you lie down on the table, your specialist will cleanse your lashes, and then will cover your lower lashes with a soothing gel pad to protect your lower lashes during the application. You will then relax with your eyes closed.
Based on the length of your lashes, we will choose the appropriate silicone rod size to “lift” your lashes and apply lash adhesive which is water soluble. The specialist will then brush back (isolate) your lashes so they attach to the silicone rod and apply the lifting solution. Depending on the length of your lashes, the lifting solution will sit on your lashes from 6-10 minutes. The solution is then removed, and a conditioning setting solution is applied which will sit on your lashes for 5 minutes. The product and pads will then be removed with water. The lash tint will then be applied for 10 minutes.
Is the procedure safe?
Yes. Lashes are lifted onto specially shaped lifting silicone rods before products are applied, so no products will be touching your skin. Elleebana lash lift should only be performed by a certified lash specialist or esthetician.
Will this service damage my natural lashes?
No. A carefully trained and skilled professional will perform the lash lift procedure with the utmost care and proper technique.
What are the possible side effects of Elleebana Lash Lift?
The product never touches the skin during the process. Redness around the eye may occur due to the product removal process (wiping eyes with pads), but should disappear within a few minutes after the procedure.
How do I care for my lashes?
Immediately after the procedure avoid steam for 24 hours and discontinue the use of any lash growth products and mascara for 48 hours. After 24 hours, exposure to steam will not affect your lashes and after48 hours you can resume the use of eyelash growth products if applicable and mascara.
